The never-read books
Publicat per moonydoodle a Agost 9, 2007
Since the last four months I’ve been having serious health problems. I don’t feel like explaining them here, but the fact it’s that, for that reason, now I have a lot of time (I can’t work, just stay at home waiting for a very important operation…). I’m trying to make up for the lost time concerning books and literature… what else can I do? So here is a list with the never-read books I bought during my last five years studying the degree. I’m starting tonight ![]()
- The Children of Hurin (J.R.R. Tolkien).
- Tokyo Blues (Hiroshi Murakami)
- His Dark Materials (Phillip Pullman), reread the first and the second and read the third.
- Narnia Chronicles (C.S. Lewis)
- Wicked (G. Maguire)
- The Sagas of Icelanders (popular literature)
- Experimental Travel (R. Antony and J. Henry)
- Icelandic Folktales (popular literature)
- Excursions i viatges (J. Verdaguer).
- Penser, classer (G. Perec).
- The Lord of the Rings (J.R.R. Tolkien)
I’ve read it twice, but I’d like to dare with the original in English. The list could be longer, but that’s what I remember now and what I’ve seen in a quick look at my shelves. I’d also like to read some Bertolt Brecht work, as well as relevant German literature. Suggestions are really welcomed!
